This article is devoted to the contrastive phraseological analysis of idioms of biblical origin in the Russian Hot Water Thermostat and English languages.Biblical idioms are regarded as precedent phenomena and means of speech influence.In particular, the article focuses on the non-equivalent idioms of biblical origin in Russian and English.
